We opened this laundromat because we wanted to provide a service to the Rotorua community, so we invested in the latest commercial washers and dryers on the market. Since we all live busy lives – we’ve also decided to keep the doors open 24/7! You can wash and dry your laundry whenever you want. Choice! Washers

Our brand new state of the art commercial washers will clean your clothes, sheets and blankets. We have three sizes for you to pick based on your needs – small, medium and large.

How to use:

1. Load your laundry

Load your laundry into the washing machine and ensure there is nothing jamming the door when you close it.

2. Choose the mode/cycle

Select the wash mode - regular, deluxe or ultra. Then select cycle - normal, perm press or delicate.

3. Choose the temperature

Select your preferred wash temperature - cold, warm or hot.

4. Add your detergent

Add your washing detergent, along with fabric softener/bleach if you choose.

5. Pay and press start

Pay with EFTPOS/debit or credit/Paywave and then press "Start" on the machine.

Dryers

Our brand new state of the art commercial dryers will dry your clothes, sheets and blankets. We have three sizes for you to pick based on your needs – small, medium and large.

How to use:

1. Load your laundry

Load your laundry into the dryer and make sure there is nothing jamming the door.

2. Choose the mode

Select your desired temperature - no heat, delicate, low, medium or high.

3. Pay and press start

Pay with EFTPOS/debit or credit/Paywave and then press "Start" on the machine.

$1.00 per 7 minutes

Medium – 21kg Dryer
$1.00 per 5 minutes

$1.00 per 3 minutes

Things you need to know

Please clean up after yourself. Be a tidy kiwi!
Security cameras are operating at all times
Please supervise children at all times
Do not leave valuables unattended as Choice Laundromats will not take responsibility for them
Leaving items unattended in washers or dryers is done at your own risk
Please remember to empty washers and dryers at the end of your cycle, especially if there are other customers waiting

Choice Laundromats accepts no responsibility for any damage to garments being cleaned or dried in our machines. Please make sure you follow the instructions on your garments.

What happens if I forget to bring my detergent?

We understand people sometimes forget things, unfortunately we do not sell detergent on site however, there is a convenience store a few shops down.

When are you open?

We are open 24/7 seven days a week for your convenience, so this means you can do your laundry at any time!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all cashless transactions including EFTPOS, Debit/Credit card and Paywave (excluding American Express). No coins or cash!
